Kitchen Queers host Mitch Hightower is in the kitchen to demonstrate his recipe for Bacon Jalapeno Mini Muffins, made with a modified version of low carb, gluten free fat head dough. Even if you don't need to eat gluten free because of a food allergy and/or low carb for a diet, these yummy and very savory appetizers are sure to please. Great warm from the oven, the Bacon Jalapeno Mini Muffins also taste great at room temperature, so they are perfect for a party spread, brunch buffet or game day.

KQ host Mitch Hightower demonstrates his mix for this refreshing adult beverage featuring vodka, homemade blackberry liqueur, limoncello, lemon juice and seltzer water. Garnished with a fresh blackberry and served in a tall, narrow Collins glass. Mitch also uses stainless steel cocktail picks and straws that can be washed and reused.

The next KQ Season 5 video features KQ partner Chef Philip and host Mitch Hightower demonstrating how to prepare Oven Roasted Pulled Pork. The pork marinates in a spice rub for two days before roasting. The result is a very tender and flavorful pulled pork which can be used in a variety of recipes including enchiladas, nachos, sandwiches, sliders, or served over pasta or rice. RECIPE EXPERIMENT: Gluten Free, Low Carb, Bacon Cheese Rolls

You may expect anything gluten free to taste like a hockey puck.  The good news is, using a recipe for "Fat Head Dough" will prevent that from happening.

KQ host Mitch Hightower and partner chef Philip Buchan have been experimenting with Fat Head Dough.  They have discovered that this gluten free, low carbohydrate dough can be used in a variety of different sweet and savory baking recipes.  And no wheat flour is required!

More ideas for baking with this dough will be available in new KQ Season 5 episodes coming in 2019!
